Yam extract

Yam is a traditional food of the East and North America, known for its unique properties - relaxes the smooth muscles of internal organs (gallbladder, stomach, intestines, uterus) and has a beneficial effect on the whole body.
● The genus Dioscorea unites about 600 species
tropical and subtropical climbing plants.
Dioscorea opposite grows in the northern parts of
Japan, China and Korea. One species (white YAM) forms
large edible tubers and is used in cooking.
The Mexican species (Dioscorea vilosa) contains
substance diosgenin used in the manufacture
of birth control pills, as later
the hormone has been synthesized. There are many legends
and speculation about its use in
female hormonal problems, but lack scientific
evidence to support this effect.
The rhizome is used for medicinal purposes.
Biologically active substances are contained in
rhizome and are: steroid saponins, tannins,
starch and phytosterols.
The eastern type of NM (Dioscorea opposita) is pronounced
antispasmodic action - relaxes the smooth
muscles of internal organs (stomach, intestines,
gallbladder, uterus). It has a very good effect on
colic (painful spasms of the intestines, menstrual
pain, biliary crises).

Ingredients (500 mg capsule):
Yam extract (tropical potato) 490 mg (Dioscorea opposita) Yam P. E. Diosgenine> 16% and excipient.

How to use:
2-3 capsules twice daily after meals
